Recently coming off an 8-episode recurring role booking for Tyler Perry’s hit show, The Have and The Have Nots, the award-winning actress, Cameo Sherrell, is looking to run the table for the new year. A talent that spans, theater, tv and film, Winter 2020, she will also be seen as the titular role in Iona Morris’s new film “Celeste’s Dream”, starring alongside Penny Johnson Jerald and Phillip Morris. A filmmaker in her own right, she is co-founder of the all women creative team, “Film De Femme”, which produced her first film “Silent Screams”, that is currently enjoying a successful festival run. Other works include national campaigns for Delta, Bud Light and Amtrak to name a few, along with editorial spreads for the likes of Essence and Zephra Magazine, it is clear that Cameo continues to be a talent in demand.
Alum of the Lee Strasberg Institute and Acting 2.0 with Anthony Abeson during her time in New York City, now calling Los Angeles home, Cameo continues to hone her craft under the tutelage of John Rosenfeld. She lives by the scripture, Phil 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
